What’s your favorite meal? New York steak cooked medium rare with a nice red wine.
What color represents your personality the most? Purple
What movie do you love to watch? I love the older movies mostly, there are so many, and it seems like Hollywood is running out of ideas.
How do you feel about social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter? These are great social media tools but I wouldn't get too wrapped up in them.
Are they a good thing? Yes, I love the way the world is becoming smaller, but am concerned about the increasing restrictions on individual freedom and you can find that expressed in my books especially The Boy Who Played with Dark Matter.
If you could do any job in the world what would you do? I'm sure I would make a good benevolent dictator lol but am very happy doing what I do. Through producing good literature you can accomplish more than any other occupation.
What are you most passionate about? What gets you fired up? I love freedom and want more of it ergo my desire to be a perpetual traveler.
What makes you angry? Learning of children being harmed mentally or physically or lacking any of the necessities of life.
What's your most embarrassing moment of your life? It would be too embarrassing to say lol.
Are you a city slicker or a country lover? I love both city life and country life with variety being the spice of life.
How do you think people perceive writers? I've never thought much about this, but I've always noticed when a writer is a part of a story, and thought isn't that a little obvious, i.e. the person writing the story including himself or herself as a character, like "Romancing the Stone."
What's your next project? I have to finish writing books 4, 5, (7 is with one of my editors) 8, 9 and 13 but could keep the Monte Cristo series going as long as there is demand for it and I don't run out of good ideas.
What would you love to produce in your life? I suppose if I could produce movies based on this series that would be awesome. One Hollywood production company contacted me out of the blue saying it is interested in the option rights to That Girl for TV and movies.
